what song/album does it sound like?
I dont know how to multiquote on this new site, but I listened here:

It's basically a proxy for accessing YouTube videos in Japan, so the song is already out over there.
Sounds like Waves/DMIZ to me.

im really liking this beat. feel like its perfect for lupe's flow. im liking this a lot on 1st listen (more than i did with autoboto)
cant even go in there anymore
it’s some good stuff there but you gotta filter out ALOT of s*** and them f***ing stans on both sides of that bullshit war are equally annoying as f***. and i say that as a fan of both artists but the s*** show these posters put on for both of them are beyond crazy.

completely agree. everyone in there acts like theyre actually getting paid by these artists to defend them. the stan wars got old years ago
"really neat, beautifully alliterated little battle raps for you"
lupe turned the amy winehouse voicemail quote in the documentary into the hook
second verse talks about her (or many others artists) struggles on the come up.

lol i changed my mind keep it here away from the bullshit.
Yeah their takes on Lupe have been bad for a decade
If Mumble Rap is probably not the cringe definition that first comes to mind, it could be about the early beginnings of a battle rap career, maybe even practicing (mumbling) the battle raps before they’re heard by an audience. Looking at its placement in the tracklist, it’s right before Cake, which I think was supposed to focus on the first battle rap victory. Headbanger is the opposite of Mumble Rap in terms of volume, maybe in the prime of your life or realizing your full potential, sandwiched in between other grandiose words like Palaces and Bigfoot. Til Eternity reminds me of DW’s Forever songs, so expecting an optimistic pivot away from the depressing conclusion of On Faux Nem.
Edit: Seems like maybe an earlier version of the tracklist had Headbanger instead of No. 1 Headband, but I think the general idea is the same.
