But musicians are praised for stuff outside music. There has NEVER been a musician that was praised by the public for their musical ability. Not once. It is always about something outside of music, even going back to the earliest piano players being known as attractive men. The Beatles appealed to white women. MJ was beautiful. Nas had a great flow but he was also gorgeous. Rakim too. If someone who was unattractive dropped Illmatic then it just be on the level of OC Word Life
