backpedalling from palestinian support to befriending IDF is crazy

i've talked to ppl in the IDF in bars, kept it neutral to keep the peace and pick their brain, but being friends with someone in the IDF is so crazy. like seeing the humanity in an individual is one thing but completely shifting idealogies like that seems so haunting.

I remember he had an IG live during the pandemic where his main point was he felt Palestinians are stupid for resisting occupation and getting killed bc they don’t have control over the situation. And that they shouldn’t complain. That basically we should compromise and accept it.

He came across to me as someone who argues for the sake of arguing or for the sole purpose of sounding like the smartest guy in the room. It’s pretty cringe. He does this on a lot of subjects.

Hadiths make sense but it’s not recommended for the laymen to look through them without a qualified teacher or mentor. Too many pitfalls with fabricated and da’iff (weak) Hadiths circulating online and a lot of the verified ones can be hard to understand if you don’t know the historical context of that specific hadith
