ight so, how many lies are on yours? ill be fr before this pandemic most of my working history was truthful but now its gotten so hard to get a damn job I've had to inflate some of the facts on there just to be able to get a damn interview and it's worked. now I'm feeling like such an idiot for not doing this sooner.
now I know doing this for a proper career job is risky but anybody applying for some kinda entry level retail job just lie thru your teeth, who gives a f*** I doubt they'll check
Depending on your field, just say you did freelance work to add more to your experience
If it’s like retail
Ehhh who gives a f*** lol
if it's some retail/labor job, it's really no biggie.
even in career applications, folk exaggerate a decent amount. you just have to be very careful that the s*** you're lying about isn't traceable. being blacklisted is no joke.
Lie on every resume and apply to every job, even ones you think you aren’t qualified for.
On the real, small embellishments is common place, just don’t take it too far.
If we’re talking about retail jobs then I’m lying about everything
fr bro, I mean damn I won't lie and say I was the manager of 3 different places but I will say I worked in places that I know will boost my application - I just need that interview and I know the jobs mine
my resume is incredibly stacked with positions and references for s*** I never did in my life
When I use to send resumes I lied A LOT. I’ve personally never heard of them fact checking, but if “integrity” is your thing
my resume is incredibly stacked with positions and references for s*** I never did in my life
when you realize how clueless and braindead most HR departments are lying on your resume becomes the norm.
everyone does it
I'm not gonna admit to anything because OP might be an informant, just remember that HR circles and job agencies are small and that kind of stuff can follow you.
Its called embellishing and its totally fine. As long as you can speak and explain your past experience properly with enough detail its acceptable and expected.
I'm not gonna admit to anything because OP might be an informant, just remember that HR circles and job agencies are small and that kind of stuff can follow you.
writing some bullshit for a career job is a different playing field, id definitely have to be a lil careful lying on that application but for retail? boy I am f***in LYIN
my resume is incredibly stacked with positions and references for s*** I never did in my life
We may disagree on things but you handle your s*** NiceLikeChrist
My resume is 80% filled with lies.
I also have multiple white friends who info i plug in as my referrals. Just in case wherever im applying to want to catch me lacking. My white niggas got my back
my resume is incredibly stacked with positions and references for s*** I never did in my life

My resume is 80% filled with lies.

this dude really is riley from the boondocks lol
i read it in his voice too lol
Of course
If you’re not bullshitting on your resume you’re not getting no decent paying job
Lmfao I have so many lies and so many places I worked at just cut away from it all together. Places I got fired from, only worked at under a month, etc. Stretched truth as to why I left each other job.
I stretched my management experience to a year, and talked up my experience / work load in the restoration biz an ass load.
I put I was the dedicated coordinator for the whole company. It was stuff I did for sure, but the company was me 1 other and the owner who did jack s***.
It says I was the incident manager, I was just a technician with a fake title on paper. I did a lot of management s*** regarding jobs but it was me and 1 guy except once we had 2 of our friends help. Says I had experience managing an entire jobs team.
Didnt matter in the end, got hired at my new place solely because of my major
