Am I the only one who noticed the direct correlation between Lyor Cohen going to head YouTube Music and HipHop becoming the uncontested dominant genre of music, particularly on the top of Billboard charts. I presume it has to do with the reworking of how youtube music/videos count towards billboard/album sales amongst other things. But the top 10 of billboard used to always be Pop dominated with Hip Hop sprinkled in. Since then it's been the opposite. Now I have to use Pandora to find decent Pop music, lol
