Bored scrolling through the psn and saw this for like 5 bucks so I copped it for ps5. Anyone ever play this and enjoy it? Looks like an okay game, got some mediocre scores but seems like a bunch of ppl on YouTube say it's very underrated.
Another game to my already backed up backlog lol

Definition of mid. The car combat is cool for a few hours but gets pretty boring and grindy. Not worth it imo
Only problem with the game is that it is repetitive
The same thing you do in the opening hours are the same things you're going to do till end game
I remember people using this game as the proof going next gen was worth it. It’s always an open world game too. Shadows of Mordor is in that category as well.

Shadows of Mordor is actually good tho
Controls are weird asf on this wtf
Just started playing this and this the first thing I thought
Sprint with R2, evade with R1, aim gun with L1
Even the alternate control scheme is weird
On my backlog since forever
Only playing it because it was cheap and my co-worker hyped it up. But based off first impressions, I'll probably end up agreeing with this thread
Noticed some lag in a cutscene and other visual glitches, I'm like 20 minutes in

Keep going. Once it lets you off the tutorial/intro forced nature of the opening hourish, it gets better. I replay it like once a year because I like the combat and car upgrade stuff, and the opening portions is always just like busy work that I speed through
On my backlog since forever
Bro I cannot finish this game. Idk why. It’s actually a really solid game but I always pick it up for an hour, tell myself I’ll return to it and then never do lol
This is one of those games that could have knocked it out of the park with a sequel however

Kojima Mad Max game soon
he already got Australia and George Miller in death Stranding 2
I can't remember ever playing a game and hating the controls this much. Accidentally killed a few NPCs who give side quests because I pressed circle right next to them
Gameplay is fun though
Hope the melee combat gets deeper with upgrades, I'm just spamming square until triangle pops up on the screen

I've never realized how important controls can be because most devs just get it right. But holy s***, Idk what they were thinking with this game
Evading with R1 instead of Circle while on foot, shooting a gun with circle, aiming with L1, jumping with L2
Game feels poorly made, cutscenes have constant little visual glitches and the camera movement is off like it's shaking slightly the whole time. Game has also been really repetitive so far. Considering shelving the game and playing it when I get bored of/stuck in another game
WHY. THE. F***. IS. CIRCLE. SHOOT. IN. THIS. GAME
Ammo scarce af and it's not helping that I keep accidentally wasting it

U really hate it
I played on pc years ago. Loved it
Edit: thought this was Max Payne
This game gets recommended all the time to play on the steam deck but it's actually terrible
