This is ye's most focused era.

    it won’t stop

He has officially accomplished what he set out to do 7 years ago: Yeezy is a 3 billion dollar company

    2:45

his music, his creative passions and his visions for the future have never aligned more than they do now

his music is now non secular, therefore when he speaks out about prison reform, p***ography/ hyper sexualization & phone addiction, the product he is putting musically aligns with his messaging in interviews and panels/forums. he can actually talk about these subjects and reject promoting them for the sake of remaining relevant. you cant name many artist that can still have a voice and do that. watch this video by my nigga WHITE MIKE. Minute 14, he breaks down exactly why radios and labels back young vulnerable black men in the name of ‘art’, and exactly what they CAN and CANT promote in their music. It’s quite sad

    14:00

his imax movie is all about light. working with james turrell was not just about how cool and creative turrells' designs were, they were geared towards shaping how brand yeezy will continue to work with civil engineers in designing homes & buildings in a sustainable way, maximizing natural light.

    14:12

watch last 5 min of this interview

thats why the film ends with a live version of "street lights"

he is not playing about bringing production to the US for his company, as shown by the production of the clogs. for him to truly make the change he preaches, he is aligning his companies values with his music and his film to fully dive headfirst into the next decade with a complete message.

he is also completely self aware of how people will perceive what he is doing, but per usual, that will not stop him. he has god, his family, his vision & the undeniable knack of manipulating the media into creating controversy. he can actually perform his album infront of his children & and his extended family. he can have his daughter sing all the lyrics, and feel confident that he is being a positive role model through and though with his content.

    53:40

ok and this nigga just did an opera

no musical accolades or trends to chase. this is him completely abandoning his pursuit for musical greatness and acclaim from the culture he dominated, and entering a completely new arena.

    i wouldnt bet against him

Everything he said he wanted to do in the yeezus era he is doing. As I said in a thread earlier he’s an artist in every sense of the word. He’s just creating and trying to make the world better.

He’s venturing into territory no other artist/musician has entered before.

It amazes me how niggas haven’t learned the lesson. Y’all laughed when he said he was Leo and needed someone to be the Medici family and back him. Adidas stepped up to the plate and the rest is history

It’s beautiful. He is risking more than anyone in his position in the industry, and has lost essentially all his previous collaborators in the process

Fam what if he does cover of Beyond Thunder Dome with Tina Turner at Sunday Service ~ We dooooont need another heeeerrrro '

People gotta put some respek on Tina's name. She was starring with xenophobic Mad Max & singing the theme

Tina needs to stop at Sunday Service. They could close with Proud Mary

But just imagine Tina & YE and the choir:

imagine her wearing the thunderdome look

Eh depends on what you're talking about. In all his other eras he was nowhere near this focused on an overall goal imo.

From Pastelle to his show pilots to his Fatburger restaurants he always f***ed up or dropped it.

This the most I've seen him accomplish overall and it all be united under one umbrella ever.

DONDA was around longer then Yeezy and didn't have nearly all this accomplished or attached.

I'm really happy for him he's in the space he constantly wanted to be in during those eras.
