Maybe it's something they agreed on for the new deal
I mean between this and Olivia Wilde talking about Feige when mentioning her Spider-Woman movie?
Marvel has to have more say in these movies. Like Sony can green light whatever they want but Marvel has to give some input
"In the comics, Madame Web is depicted as an elderly woman with myasthenia gravis and thus was connected to a life support system that looked like a spider web. Due to her age and medical condition, Madame Web never actively fought any villains. For that reason, sources have stressed it’s possible the project could turn into something else."
???lmfao
it’s like they announced the movie before even knowing who madame web was. holy s*** the lack of research from Sony is INSANE
I need to wait for a trailer because rn I have no idea what a plot could be for this movie

Sony trying to build to this
Keyword: trying
I hope sony don't use Jess for their universe... everything else would make sense since they're largely connected to Peter/Spider-man but Jess has largely never been that outside of her moniker being "spider-woman".
unless they do ultimate Jess, lol....
Live action Spider-Gwen
No
Hunter Schafer should be Gwen
Black Cat tho…

How long until we get a JJJ prequel where he’s a journalist in the 70s investigating the local madman entrepeneur Amberson Osborn?
Because that’s definitely coming sooner or later
This would be a better movie tbh.
Amberson all up in some shady s***.
Struggling journalist JJJ gets rejected for his dream job at the Daily Bugle. Accidentally stumbles upon some clues of foul play in regards to Amberson.
Amberson gets increasingly stressed and violent as everything comes crashing down on him. Sends people after JJJ and tries to slander and blackball him.
He's lashing out at his family, torturing his son as we see a young Norman's split personality first develop.
Follows JJJ doing his journalist thing, finally cracks the case and gets hard evidence.
The police pull up on Amberson right as they begin to imply he's about to commit murder-suicide.
Young Norman watches, tears in his eyes but a sinister smirk on his face, damaged forever as his father gets taken away.
JJJ sues for damages from Amberson's actions against him, uses the money he wins to buy the Daily Bugle.

You’re making it sound hard, especially with Norman developing his multiple personalities directly from his father’s abuse
Sounds gritty asf too, those Sony execs better run you that check
