Don't let them discourage you. Gotta start somewhere and don't ask for people's opinions on your music. It's shows insecurity and kills motivation for music or anything you wanna do in life.

Also look for platforms or use social media to get it out. If you're gonna use the cloud might as get premium or get a YouTube channel. Good presentation art goes a long way. Also avoid basic videos, be unique. I can do graphics, I'm not the best but I really just do it for fun. HMU if you need that.

Lol huh? asking for opinions and criticism is one of the greatest ways to grow as an artist. It doesn't mean you have to take everything into account but it's good you see what other people say outside your own thoughts.

True it works both ways. I know people who already expect positive criticism for confirmation and when they don't get it, they disappear. I just think it's more confident to put it out and let them decide instead of asking opinions of people who might not be into your style.

some people just art fit to be making art publicly. Part of art is receiving criticism and opinions. You have to go for the impression that not everyone will be into your style. I have a thread for my own brand im working on and I post on there with the understanding that not everyone will dig my s*** or it's just not their style and thats fine. Something you need to be able to understand as an understand as an artist of any capacity.

Art is gonna get criticized regardless but there's people in my city I've seen give up and I know it's because they views wasn't big or they'll announce they're first song drops in a week and I'm like man just put it.
