Lyrically yes it was very similar but the themes were handled in a much more mature way

Musically it was completely different

I could see this being really good if Madlib has enough Mac verses and gets some other artists Mac was close with or respected to fill in the rest

This is a weird case because I hate releasing anything from a dead person but I think Mac would respect this. I know if I was working on a project with a legend like Madlib and I died I’d absolutely trust him to finish the vision
