Shouldn't Wayne be the king of the south?

Wayne's music is really sad these days compared to his prime.

Ross actually sounds better in the latter stage of his career then he did at his peak.

Ross is the most consistent southern artist of his generation. Thats OutKast, UGK, Scarface caliber.

My girl is raised in Alabama/Tennessee, southerners don’t claim them.

Also have family in Dallas and never said they from the south it’s always “Texas”

Texas is a huge state that spans across different cultural regions, DFW probably has more in common with Oklahoma and the great plains (besides its large black population), and El Paso is definitely South West but East Texas and Southeast Texas...places like Houston, Gavelston, Port Arthur, Tyler...these places are the South, they are joined at the hip with Arkansas and Louisiana and they claim the South. Just listen to their music.

That makes sense geographically. However Texas didn’t have an SEC school until they expanded a few years ago. I know it may sound silly to think that but people on the south treat college football like religion. That’s how people think in the deep south.
