1 and 2 are classics. Only games I could look back as alternatives to GTA back then, aside True Crime/Sleeping Dogs

Just replayed 3 and it really ain't as bad as y'all making it. Everything is patched up now and the story was fire. The core mechanics are better than most open world games, it's just repetitive as f***.

Also how the nigga above me seeing Mafia 1 and 2 as a GTA alternative, I'll never know because 1 and 2 are linear as f*** outside of collectible playboy books in 2
