Mercurial World still a great album tho

Mercurial World is one of my favorite albums of the decade, but as I expected this did nothing for me. Maybe it's the prog rock instrumentation. The melodies are less sticky. Less interesting production. I hope they go back to electropop.

Personally I’m the opposite, although Imaginal Disk wasn’t my fav album of the decade

i love the album, but i get what u mean, like there’s no secrets or top dog type songs on here that instantly grab u, it’s a more patient type album which makes sense since they were influenced by 70s-80s media
