Now keep in mind, the beats would remain exactly the same. Really goes to show how the names affect one’s perception

You’re pulling an argument out your ass. This isn’t a thing, has never been stated to be a thing, and nothing about the Nas x Hit Boy discourse even alludes to it being a thing. This take of yours is nothing more than a made up cope to reckon with people simply not fw Hit Boy’s Nas instrumentals. The names do not change that, if anything the slander would be worse with those names

    run can virtually smd

  • Sep 22, 2023

Hitboy gotta be the most overhated producer in rap right now.....and it mostly seems like displaced anger because Nas hasn't made an album with Preemo, Alchemist, Madlib, etc...

@Vibe It’s honestly tough to just pick 3. His discography is so big and he’s had so many different eras with different sounds. I’ll give you some from different eras I really like

    2000s

2010s gets more tricky because it’s when he started to really evolve his sound from more traditional style beats (Soul/Jazz sample with a drumbreak) into sampling more rock and electronic stuff and doing straight drumless beats

Then in 2017 - 2018 he started getting really good at the drumless stuff and also started focusing more on the textures and really how his drums hit

I know this is a lot more than you asked to hear lol
