It's really crazy. I checked everyday the week it dropped and the week after. Not one single publication cared to review the album. I'm honestly still surprised.

Just a lil hot take.. but like for all anyone know OVO pays these guys f***ing handsomely (in addition to the income they earn as a result of their art) to live their DREAM.. these guys definitely make an above average income.. they do what the f*** they want for that money, for the most part, and they get to skirt the trappings of fame. I really don’t see the downside.. like so many people interpret their career as a near failure because they’re not nauseatingly “big” — these guys won already. I’m curious to know what kind of residual income they get just off of being a part of songs like HOWGH.. that’s a f***ing layup of a paycheque from Drake that will continue to roll in for life.

Majid Jordan is already at a place where many unsigned artists who can’t even quit their day jobs would kill to be at.

Their music is already pretty niche, but they themselves don’t do much to make names for themselves

If the label has to do all the handholding for you then you probably don’t deserve to more than what you have.
