This latest album had a good amount of promo and still didn't chart. They performed Waves of Blue on Fallon, had interviews on Apple Music 1 with Zane Lowe, put out videos for all the singles, had Swae Lee, Drake, and Diddy features. They just aren't that big unfortunately and took too much time in between albums.

And just curious what kind of promo do you expect from OVO currently? They have no single out, they didn't tour, they aren't collabing with other OVO artists currently, released the album 8 months ago. Like what do you want?

their last album was my least favorite project of theirs by far but i think their music has grown off me as a whole at this point. still a few joints i go back to but PND and dvsn are the OVO acts I check for.

I think majid Jordan is a testament of how you don't need to be a huge artist to be really successful.

They don't have any recent high charting songs or albums but their shows are all sold out and they have a lot of monthly Spotify listeners. Not sure if they are big song writers and producers for other artists either but I imagine they make a lot from that too.

I liked this album a lot but their first album will always hold a special place in my heart.
