Europeans want to be like urban Americans so bad lmfao
Everyone wants to be like us lol
Y'all is a great word
I'm happy to see foreign countries embrace good parts of american culture
Me too but it’s kind of strange for a non-american to talk like that. It’s like me saying “Mandem” and “Lad”.
i have only gone out 3 times in the last 4-5 days to buy food and essential needs but everything is really dystopian feeling
the eaton's center is fully boarded up with 8-9 foot tall wood barriers and people are being fined for standing too close in lines
it's so unnerving to think this may be our lives until it's cold out again
edit: just realized my sleeping schedule is all over the place, i used to be in bed around midnight and wake up at 7-8am for a few hours of morning work and the last 2 nights i went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 4am 😶 just to now go back to sleep at 5am until it's light out...

downtown is the most barren i have ever seen it
and from what ive seen walking out for 20-25 minutes was that many of the big corporate businesses on Yonge and Bloor JUST started to barricade and board up their shops on Wednesday

what's the closest main intersection to you?
I live in KC and we haven’t really felt a rush yet but mfs are still walking around like they’re on vacation
I work in healthcare so I can’t be stupid and do anything outside of essential business because even though patient volume is low we’re still seeing mfs
Haven’t seen friends, family or b****es in like the last 3 weeks
I feel like a villager waiting for the flood
Sad because it’s like this everywhere for the most part. No one wants to stay inside unless it’s effecting then or their loved ones

well take in, it has been cold in Canada and in New York / East Coast up until the last week
so we have BEEN inside after school/work but now we are itching to go outside and being told not to...
Just throwing this out here. Suicides will sky rocket if we keep this social distancing up past June. As Americans, we are creatures of habit. We will have to go out eventually and actually enjoy ourselves. A lot of us need to go back to work. People don’t understand how important social life really is. It’s definitely something we took for granted. They’re going to have to find a better alternative rather than lock the country down.

Yup, I feel like this is accurate not only in America but a lot of countries. The lock down is not sustainable from a mental health and economic point of view.
Ktt loves the word “dystopian”
