I think exposing a famous musicians old tweets, Facebook and YouTube accounts was fun in the past…and would occur after millions of eyes were on the artist…but now it’s too easy to run an FBI background check on any random person and thus fans can chase the clout of having “exclusive” info on an artist.

IMO the clout of presenting yourself as an early fan / somebody close to the artist is what people digging for content are chasing
