You know how many waters humans swim in are shark infested? They have signs and lifeguards too, sometimes you just get unlucky. Life sucks

as someone that lives on a beach, yes chances are if you live near a beach it probably has sharks in it at some point.
a lot of beaches have signs warning people of it. Unless you specifically see a shark or you have lifeguards telling you otherwise, it’s not uncommon for people to still swim
