They’re not adapting any of those black Superman stories in the comics so your argument makes no sense and yes the slot is limited when Hollywood keeps trying to race switch iconic characters for diversity points instead of giving us an actual black superhero

Yep. Studio8 is producing it with a distribution deal with Sony Pictures mostly likely. I never read the comic but the concept alone is dope. We about to see Dec 21st on the big screen

I show support for any black media I’m interested in. Don’t act like black people voicing their criticism about Hollywood race swapping are the enemy or don’t care enough to support black blockbuster franchises.

I’m excited for Spike Lee’s adaptation of Prince of Cats. I’ll never be satisfied with Hollywood pandering and I’m tired of this whole shut up & take what you can get attitude ni**ers mentality some people have on here.

He wrote it in 2016 so this really doesnt mean much considering genre filmmaking has been dead for quite some time now. Its long been a profitable endeavor for Hollywood to turn genre into liberal pandering.

I find it interesting that he spent his career being a journalist in the 2000s and only since the boom of selling woke politics in genre content, he is now being asked to write scripts for movies and comic books.
