Superman (prob origin) story which might take place in the 20th century featuring a black Kal-El.
Will have a black director. Still written by Coates who should be handing the script in by the end of the year
May not be DCEU Earth 1.
Origin?
20th century??
I'm going flaccid fast af.
Im good on black superman
Hate when the whites try to pander to black people
How about just create a original black superhero?
Idk I just like Superman to look at least similar to Christopher Reeve. Just a personal thing for me. It has nothing to do with race, I would feel the same if they cast anyone that looks different than that. I think people holding onto their childhood conceptions of a character isn’t necessarily coming from a bigoted place.
If that is the case then I want my black Green Lantern. John Stewart was the first Green Lantern I grew up with.
Black Superman? Why? Is there a comic black Superman or something?
There is but they're not making the movie based on him which makes no sense
If thats the case then the Lex i grew up with looks like a Black person and Superman looked Dominican

Ayo
I feel bad Henry got put in such a bad franchise tho he really is a pitch perfect Superman who got playing the least Superman like Superman ever on film.
Really lame to do this on his birthday
they really asking for some s*** with this move lol. they know damn well a lot of white folks gonna be pissed off.
we didn't need no black superman
Lol blame STAS
Fam I remember when I first saw the real Lex Luthor and I was so confused...I went from seeing this all the time growing up
To this dude

It's not about needing one it's black superman I just don't see why it's a black Clark Kent.
F*** white people feelings

Word and I love Rosenbaum but the contrast was crazy
BTAS Harvey Dent too
And then he was actually Black in Val Kilmer Batman
I know they are pandering but a black superman does exist in comics and it’s canon as far as I know

We know, but it's not Kal-El
They're making Kal-El black
I could care less but making him Kal El instead of one of the actual comic black supermans is the definition of try hard and crawling for brownie points to try to top marvels diversity which is hilarious considering how much dc has cock blocked diversity throughout their own films over and over thus far
Are these mfs trying to compete with Sam being the new Cap? I know WB wouldn’t stoop so low to just make Clark black in an effort to overshadow Marvel by using shock tactics instead of using Calvin Ellis

That’s cool with me. To me there’s no main look for that character that I associate with them.

Yes. Superman from Earth 2.

What shock tactics is Marvel using by making Sam Wilson Captain America in the MCU? He's been Captain America for the last 6 years in the comics now and he's been great. It's not like they said "Nope! We're just gonna take Captain America and make him black now!" It was a whole story arc that led to him taking up the mantle. If I remember correctly it was like two years of build up to that event as well.

I didn’t say Marvel was using a shock tactic I said DC was
