Not all all. MOTW is actually a good album... Montana, Higher Higher are some of his career best
so we just saying luke warm takes tonight.. while we at it, someone should say travis scott and dj khaled basically the same person.
Not naming anyone but I posted about this earlier. Knew a nyc artist who gained traction/blew up in the last 2 year. A melodic street artist. Went to school with him and was cool with his friends . He isn’t as gangster as he acts but he was definitely down and some of his friends were actual gangbangers. He was “gangster” by connection. He was actually pretty good in school but didn’t give a f***.
I remember he came to school after he gained traction just to walk the halls and my teacher said “ Let him be he’s a famous singer now”
I feel you bro. I actually knew him back in the day, him and me use to race cars and s***. One night i told em Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines. On top of that, he just came into Harry's and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust. He aint listen tho

I actually agree with this comparison to a degree. But MOTW is definitely not as bad as The Big Day.

dj khaled with autotune
man of the woods was truly that horrible filthy gotta be one of the worst songs i ever heard from a mainstream artist
MOTW is 100x better. Filthy, Midnight Summer Jam, Higher Higher, Breeze Off The Pond, and Montana are all top tier tracks in his discography. I just wish he didn’t take the “folk Americana with 808’s” shtick and run with it as much as he did cause songs like Flannel, the title track and Living Off The Land are just objectively not good.
I think it’s just s*** on so much because JT legitimately had never made a “bad” song before, then he releases an album where 2/5 of it is unlistenable garbage. But I have no doubt his next project will absolutely be a return to form.
He’s one of the four artists I stan btw
