WESLEY THE GREATYeah but there wasn’t a chance in hell he could actually beat 1 & 2. They just too cemented at this point. So rather then try to recreate what he had already done, he just took the energy and went in a different direction.
Last time I checked motm1 doesn’t sound like motm2. So why would motm3 sound like a copy of either?
He didn’t “recreate anything” cuz he rarely does that with any project…what two cudi projects actually sound that similar outside of aknc-motm? Literally every project after that sounds different from the one that preceded it.
Motm2-wzrd-indicud-sf-Sbth-ppds-ksg-motm3. Cudis music has never been on some linear path people acting like this haven’t been paying attention.
When motm2 came out a decade ago plenty of people complained it was too dark. Just go look at old rap forum threads about it.

Cudi does have a sound im just saying his albums have always never been copy and paste and some people are acting like motm3 should’ve been some rehash of the 1st and second when he’s never done that.
