Starting what needs to be a huge summer off by signing mason mount doesn’t fill me with any confidence I can’t lie
Mount is a good player. Think some of you are being harsh. Anyone in a Chelsea shirt was gonna look s*** this season, especially given the system they play doesn't really suit him. But he was their POTY two seasons running before that.
Has a great mentality, very hard working, Premier League experience obviously, can score goals, great on set pieces, very versatile, and still just 24.
Way better than Eriksen.
Yassss this is what I want too
If we pay 100 mil for 15 Bundesliga goals im personally gonna woop Murthough’s ass

Not convinced on Kolo Muani or Ramos - big question marks for the figures proposed
Really hope Harry Kane goes big d*** on Levy and tells him it’s now or he walks next summer

What about 60M for Mount
What about 60M for Mount
CL winning midfielder who starts for England and knows the prem. probably worth around 45-50 but since it’s a prem rival in Chelsea 60 is an ok price.
Ppl on Twitter hating on Mount, but were creaming their pants over mid table Ligue 1 and Bundesliga midfielders who’s name you can’t pronounce and who they haven’t seen a single game from but only know them because of Football Manager
He's alright, works hard and I'm sure Ten Hag will get the best out of him but I've always thought he was nothing special.
At least we're getting this done early, so there's clearly thought behind it and we aren't going to waste time.
It's those nothing special type players that often turn out to be the some of the most valuable parts of a team.
The under the radar workhorses that you can always rely on to put in a solid shift. Fletcher, Park, Herrera.
Way better than Eriksen.
I like Eriksen a lot personally. He was great in the first half of the season.
Then got screwed with that injury and just our ridiculous amount of games.
He'll benefit from the rotation. And yeah energy-wise he just can't press like Mount can.
@Mamba I ain't forgotten that you were opposed to Casemiro signing. So ima take your opposition to Mount as an equally good omen.
I have no doubts of his quality - more his player profile and how he fits our midfield.
We're heading into the beautiful paradise of Total Football. And with a Dutchman at the helm for that true authenticity.

totally me today with this Rasmus Højlund guy. until I found out he didn't score a single goal for FC Copenhagen lol. how good can he be to not bag a single goal in Danish league like

haha fantastic. can mount play in the midfield beside Casemiro? I feel like he always plays CAM for Chelsea/england so idk what his role would be for us.

I mean he's scored everywhere else he's been at an impressive rate, even in the conference league that season for them, would just put that down to an 18-19 year old not being fully ready and not getting many minutes. Doubt he's ready to lead the line for a full season for United but definitely as the younger option sounds good
Yeah @Mamba, just looked at his transfermarket, the kid only got 295 minutes in the Danish league that season where he got 15 appearances, that's like 20 minutes at the end of the game I'd imagine. Then he was starting in the Austrian league and started cooking

Fair enough. I think him as backup to Kane would be a perfect duo.
Messi to Miami makes a lot of sense tbh. Close proximity to Argentina, and can spend January-May playing for Barca if that’s what he wants and better last chapter than going to Saudi Arabia like Benzema/CR.

He’s a decent option to have on the bench when the opponent is parking the bus, but gets run past way too easily against any serious opponent

Agree on that point but they're asking for 80m?
hopefully Madrid will go all out for Halland this summer :word:
idk I think theyre on their way to get mbappe next summer so makes sense to wait and have stop gap
