Despite all this negativity, I've been very impressed by Onana so far, has the right attitude and the leadership qualities we need in goal.
Onana and AWB have been solid so far.
Sooo after letting things settleā¦
Iām really tired of the āheās playing out of positionā excuse for Rashford, heās arguably a worse player when heās on the wing. When heās up top heās more of a non-factor, when heās on the wing and he isnāt scoring goals, heās an actively awful contributor to the team.
His 3 month purple patch last year is largely the reason weāre playing CL football this year but idk, we shouldāve engaged with PSG more seriously when they wanted him.
Iām also getting tired of Bruno. People always talk about his big chance creation (and apparently weāre third in the PL for it this year already) but like where are they actuallyā¦? All the blame usually goes to our front three but Iām starting to think thereās a flaw with the stat itself, or at least how itās used in relation to the chances Bruno creates. He has far more stinkers than he does good games, but heāll light up every other game with an unreal pass that makes everyone (even me) go āOMG LOOK HOW GOOD HE ISā⦠it happened yesterday, but the overall game from him was poor. I genuinely think Mount had a better one, but heās the one getting pelters this morning.
One is on a brand new 300k+ a week contract and the face of the team⦠the other is the newly appointed captain. Just an awful situation to be in.
Rant over lol.
Things are far from settled weāre 1-1 in a 38 game season, we need to play better and be more effective for sure but the overreactions are unnecessary

Nothing but facts
This new thing of people lying about Chelsea and then the community notes saying "actually they're slightly less s*** than that so there" is so funny
This obsession in here with selling players to Saudi/PSG while their price is high is strange to me. It's like I get having reservations with Casemiro, Varane moving forward or Bruno, Rashford, Shaw taking the team to the heights but have you seen how this club spends funds? There's no kind of succession plan within the squad, it's basically asking a club that takes weeks to draft a club statement to start from scratch. There's DAN JAMES nostalgia, we have no idea how low this gets
Very interesting that they are getting rid of Mason anyway, yet make the point he didnāt do what he was charged of.
Makes you wonder what the club were made aware of.
The only L is the club statement basically confirms they actually wanted to keep him and only relented because they realised they would feel so much media backlash if they did
Any chance this has something to do with the take over? where potential new owners wanted this cleared under the glazers name? Now this is sorted I wonder if the take over picks up speed
probably Wishful thinking
F*** it I'm gonna say it on camera, I think Richard Arnold was worse for us than Woodward

the whole statement is we would have kept him but he wants to leave
which is bad enough and even worse when you realise that even that is bullshit
you can tell the last paragraph of that statement is all theyve changed in the last week

*we want to keep him but you all want him to leave
and even then they wouldnt have cared about fans wanting him to leave if they could have figured out a way to work around it

Just another of the exact same breed
Scum

Richard Arnold x John Murtough might be the worst partnership in first flight European football. At least Woodward was great at getting commercial partnerships in.
He didnāt do it but social media pressured us into getting rid of him
Is a pathetic stance to take, regardless of anything else
My top 4 predictions:
1- City: It's City
2- Liverpool: Provided they manage to stop being such a sieve defensively, they have the highest celing out of any PL club imo. Attack is so class and a Mac Allister - Szoboszlai - Caicedo midfield is nothing to bristle at.
3- Arsenal: They have quality but I don't think they're mentally equipped for another title race. Arteta doesn't move me much outside of his Guardiola impression mode.
4- United: Clearly improved but they've still got a long way to go. Goal scoring not reliable except for Rashford and they've got both a lower ceiling and floor than some of the other teams swarming around them. They were a bit lucky to finish 3rd last year, they ranked 6th in xG and GD differentials and that's with Pool, Chelsea and Tottenham all having down years.
As for the UCL I truly don't see Madrid winning it again. As things stand they don't have a proper 9 or a GK (both positions were instrumental in their last UCL win lol). Probably City again or Bayern.
Is it too late to swap out United for Brighton/Newcastle? team looks to be in shambolics. I mean most of the time you guys look rough but this time it's different I feel it.
Number 2 spot for Liverpool stands true provided they go for a proper 6 aside from Endo. If they do that they would be legitemately challenging for every competiton they're in. If not then it would be so over.
Seen him play like twice and was running with him on FIFA 20, pretty much same scenario as Sane in 2016. He's gonna be a hit ffs
