we can just start fresh when Qatari takeover complete
if the glazers stay, football just isn’t for me anymore
This is another example of the poor mentality we have. We were doing quite well, then Brighton score the first goal out of nowhere and we unravel. I don't know what fixes that. It's a constant cloud that's loomed over the club for years now and it has survived multiple managers and multiple roster overhauls.
Tactical genius got found out in 15 minutes and did what about it
None of this is new so I’m slightly confused as to why the tone has changed suddenly

lol supporting is hard when you’re not winning huh 🤣

Defensively we are very fragile and rely on individual brilliance over system, whenever we try to play attacking free flowing football we lose because it shines a bright light on that fragility, having Casemiro as a single pivot isn't gonna work at his fitness and sharpness levels, the attacking play today was decent besides the black hole left in right wing and needed some better finishing, the Højlund disallowed goal would've changed everything but that's football and you don't take your chances you lose, we can go back to grinding out results playing ugly football like we did last season but I don't think that's the way we win any trophies
It's 2025. You go on XX.com to see a nostalgia post about Ten Hag with clips of the carabobbins cup final and the Barca games. In the replies they're reminiscing over Antony's single good game. You look in the related tweets, you see a MikeLUHG tweets about Naglesmann saving the Glazers money by spending 300m. Another about how Shea Lacey handed City the quintuple. You get a notification. The Glazers are leaning towards Jassim over Rathcliffe. Life is good

brilliant
Subbing off Rasmus the star signing when you need more than one goal might be the turning point yano

You forgot to mention we just got battered at Anfield 9-1
There's been barely any cheap speculative young signings with these lot in charge. Pellistri fits the bill, but other than that they'll pay massive star money for potential.
I get them not trusting their own scout's judgement and that ETH probably doesn't have many suggestions outside of Utrecht but when they got Rangnick they neutered his one skill by ignoring his transfer suggestions and just let him be a manager. I understand not keeping him around but you could have taken some punts on his suggestions. 5 players would cost about as much as you're losing on Antony or Sancho. Ten Hag probably wouldn't play them but still
That’s what good scouting can do. Money spent is an almost irrelevant stat.
Whenever a young player balloons in value it's always "they wouldn't have developed the same at United" but if United being a bad environment for players stopped us there'd be no signings. Yeah young players are raw but at least there's a long term purpose when starting them. Old man Ronaldo, Weghorst, Martial Fred, Eriksen, McTom, Reguilon, Evans, Maguire and many others were/are there just to fill a spot in the lineup before they spend 50m+ on another unknown or someone gets healthy
We lost 3-1 and he’s trying to tell us the system worked. Apparently he’s not a habitual lying bullshitter though.
