why do u hate mount so much
he's had more good games than bad for us
idk im willing to give him a chance. but so far ive mainly seem him just run hard and not actually be a midfielder.
ETH benching him for a month straight isn't helping his case.
Same amount of wins as arsenal
A place higher than we were this time last year
King ETH is on the charge

This guy was meant to be our no.9 I hate that he’s packing up Eintracht and Braunschweig on a regular

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1720884605824188642The one time we don't have an aging experienced striker is the one time we need one most
Hojlund is absolutely wasted on his own watching the fidget spinner and garnacho try whatever the f*** they do on the wings
@Be2ye this literally proves my point.
He chose to come here without a DOF. He wanted full control on transfers. He got it. No Ralf? His call.
Hold him accountable on the transfers. He’s also accountable for however he handles sancho, Antony, rashford, and every other bust up that transpired or will transpire.
I’d like him to succeed, but for the last 3 months more so off the pitch, than on, he’s shown it’s not happening.
Not sure about Ralf being his call.
Him saying the structure is good seems like the smart things to say to the verocious media. Also i genuinely think he likes the challenge of it all.
Sancho's attitude stinks, don't care for the dude and his insane wage. Antony will come right with the right overlapping plays, atleast he's a fighter unlike Bencho.
Forget this year, this is a rebuild United are in, this is gonna take time and a lot more fails before you can take a steady flight.
Paul Mitchell coming at the helm sounds like the right direction. With him in charge ETH will have less headaches and more focus and direction, plus the right players at his disposal hopefully.
Most important thing next transfer windows is getting the right players out and building a cohesive team = DOF's work.
Sir ETH for the win!
watched the second half this morning, was great to see how much it meant to the players (and me) to get the result, great goal from Bruno
a couple more 1-0s against Copenhagen and Luton before the international break sounds alright atm, hopefully after the break we would've gotten more players back and we can keep some sort of run going
The overlap from Dalot in the 83rd minute is exactly what we've missed from Luke Shaw, Reguilon even
Nothing to get carried away with but the couple 1-0's before City and Newcastle is the type of result we must build on til the international break

what's happening during the international break? Zidane?

He might be a better fit than Ten Hag but I can say with 100% certainty he will not come to United, it's like you said yesterday, we should bring in Mbappe as well
we didn't even make a fuss of the one yesterday either

This is the first time I have seen him be fully honest in front of the media. Usually, he is 'cold' and tries to be very short in answers. But you can see he's emotional.
Objectively thinking, everything he says in this video is true. His hands are a bit tied up.
If he wants to play a possession-based style he has to get rid of 80% of the players and has to bench Rashford and Bruno. Can you imagine how this fanbase would react if the "best players" got benched?
Honestly speaking, the only players who would suit a possession-based team are Onana, Martinez, Shaw, Hojlund, Sancho, Eriksen, Martial, Van de Beek and Antony.
And let's not forget that more than half of these players who 'could' play in a possession-based team don't have the quality or the mentality to play for United.
That leaves us with 3 or arguably 4 players who can play that sort of football.
Erik ten Hag has made some bad mistakes. I don't agree with a lot of the things he did. But unless there are some drastic changes at the club, he simply can't play possession-based football with the personnel he has.

the issue is he says we played very good football last year.
we absolutely did not. hence why this press conference is going to one of his defining moments.

'Honestly speaking, the only players who would suit a possession-based team are Onana, Martinez, Shaw, Hojlund, Sancho, Eriksen, Martial, Van de Beek and Antony'
Half of those not good enough apparently already anyway.
Onana - Jury is out. Looks decent since the mistakes
Martinez - Needs to recover from the injury, decent before it
Shaw - Keep him around if you want 7-0 to be a yearly occurence
Hojlund - Wasted, might as well not play with the service he gets
Sancho - Singled out and ostracised
Eriksen - Miracle he's still alive let alone playing. Good squad member though
Martial - Nope
VDB - Nope
Antony - Nope
The players who suit the style he wants are mostly s***.. so his hands are tied by spending 400m on s*** players..
If VAR gave us some of these very unfair decisions it'd be a very different aura around United at the moment

I don’t agree with the post naming Sancho, VDB and Martial since they aren’t fit or their attitude stinks, but i do think Antony can play way better than we’ve seen. All it takes are the right link-up plays and overlaps. Go watch some Ajax clips and yes i know you’re gonna say he can only do it in a farmers league but my point is, he’s not showcasing so much skill and talent that he clearly has in his locker.
Eriksen isn’t fit enough i agree. But his profile would suit Ajax ball.
So you need more of ETH style players, Hojlund can fill in the role of Haller during Ajax.
the issue is he says we played very good football last year.

I mean the problem with last year is that you still lacked key technical players for a cohesive team such as the right wingbacks and a ball carrier to play technical Ajax ball but they did the best they could with the squad they had

If his idea of good football is last year like that then wasn’t any better than Ole or Mou.

The point is missed: to play the desired ETH ball that fans keep wishing for you need a different profiled squad

Of which he's buying the wrong players / not using them

He hasn’t bought the wrong players for his Ajax system. Rather, the rest of the squad lack the technical skills and football IQ to implement it

So why would he so fiercely continue to back those that don’t do that
Aka Rashford and the possession repellent fernandes
