Imo Fred and Bruno are starters so it's who would fill that third spot. Once Pogba leaves we'd still have VdB Matic Mctominay Moises. I feel like Ed would look at this and say there's no need to get a Pogba replacement

If I were ole I would try to see if we could offload Matic for a price while he still can and go for an established deep lying playmaker (which could still be Van De Beek if we used him in his recent Ajax role)

tbf I defend the maguire deal more often than not. we needed an adult back there - he is part of the long term solution. apart from the spurs game, hes been solid. sure hes probably closer to a 50M player than 80M but he's going to be around for a long time, and seems to be a good captain too

I do have to say though I think he would be a good mentor to for the likes of Moises, Van De Beek and whoever else comes in since his positional sense and footballing brain is top notch
