I’m a massive fan of both Rashford and Martial, but after last season where they both got 20~ goals in all competitions, this was supposed to be the season where they progress to bridge the gap and prove that they’re genuinely top 3 in the league levels in their positions. We’re halfway through the season and neither looks like doing so.

Martial just genuinely looks like he’ll never have that hunger in his game. It’s an intangible thing, but he just doesn’t look like he wants to live and breathe goals in a way Cavani does.

Still worry about the central midfield core too. Pogba is all but gone, and whilst Fred and McTominay have their strengths, matches like these really showcase how lacking they are in dictating play and controlling tempo.

Getting tired of Martial and Rashford not quite being where they should be, they've both played for us for 4+ years.

United got very exposed on the right side of the pitch. Don’t understand why Ole didn’t pick players who actually play in there positions.

Ole seems to think James is some kind of counter attacking wild card even though he looks useless when he's asked to do basically anything. Can't afford a passenger in there when the other attackers are so wasteful. Even if they don't sign another pure winger, surely Diallo could play that role better.
Feel like United need 7 points out of this game, Wolves and Villa to be considered anything more than Top 4 contenders going into the new year.

Pretty mad of Ole to play Lindelof out of position and have Dan James on the right, like that's a real defensive disaster. He could get away with it with AWB there bc he's solid but that's too big a gamble against a top four rival
