he was born in 1951, checks out then that the busby babes era would've had him be a big united fan.

cause a lot of people born a bit later so like 1960s - 1970s, are liverpool fans.

    Best possible owner scenario

He explains more on the logistical constraints Old Trafford has to simply expanding in that Athletic written piece.

2.49 mark his response about ETH is the response I use in FM when the stupid press conference asks me about building a team around a player, and I know im about to bench or sell that player and I say its a team sport.

He does stress that its not as simple as switching manager. That's his whole point after he says he'd prefer not to comment on an individual.

Also, I will take the flack for this too, though I have said it before although maybe not as bluntly. But we should keep Greenwood.

ive said it too. if his perception can be changed to media / social media mobs, then talent wise -> he is the only player in England that could be up there with Phil in one day being ballon d'or caliber.

and perhaps, perhaps, mainoo. but we're a long way from that yet considering he's 2 months into his career. glimpses are there of Greenwood potential.

I don't see it in nacho, hes a level below that.

This Athletic interview is really good, better than the BBC one. He just comes across as not a bullshit merchant which is so refreshing.

    • Do Chelsea show how not to do things given their recent spending?

“I don’t want to finish up criticising Chelsea but what I would say is that in having bought other clubs in Lausanne and Nice – we have made a lot of cock ups. We’ve made some really stupid decisions in both those clubs. There’s a lot of organisations in the world where if you make a mistake, you get shot, so nobody ever puts their head above the parapet. But at INEOS, we don’t mind making people making mistakes but please don’t make it a second time. So with that, we’re much less than sympathetic when they make the same mistake twice. We have made mistakes in football so I’m really pleased that we made those mistakes before we arrived here in Manchester United. If we hadn’t, this would be a much tougher job for us. Because it is huge and it’s very exposed.”

    • Have you spoken to Sir Alex Ferguson much?

“I have. He was the first person I met when I went up there which I think was the second week of January and I had a meeting from 9am to 10am at his house and – I left at 1pm.

He never stopped. He’s got a lot of experience, a lot of stories to tell and a lot of thoughts about the club.

I don’t think he has been encouraged to get involved but he is still very thoughtful about the club and he has an immense amount of experience. He really understands the values and traditions of the club and what it’s all about. He’s still fiercely competitive, Alex Ferguson.”

    • Regarding CIty, would it help if they were found guilty of 115 breaches they are accused of by the Premier League?

“I would not wish that upon them. I don’t understand any of that. I just want to smash them on the football field.”

A new left back is a necessity, otherwise we’re going into next season with two left backs who spent the majority of the season injured

I know youth viewers hype up H.Amass but he’s way too young anyway

All this talk about it’s not looking good for ten hag

To me it sounds more like with the set up it’s irrelevant the manager, so he’s not interested in replacing ten hag immediately

Can imagine that might change if no Ucl finish though

This is the first time I've heard about Greenwood in a while, this and Bellingham calling him a rapist. Considering thousands of accounts start tweeting "RT if you're a true Greenwood and United fans" whenever he scratches his balls he must be doing proper s***e over there.

I’m optimistic for Ratcliffe/INEOS but still very skeptical considering the Glazers own a vast majority of a club and seemingly only interested in dividends
