I know this is a wildly unpopular opinion to have within the fanbase, but I'd choose Liverpool or City to win the league over Arsenal.

I think the crying about "oh no Liverpool might tie us" or "City might win 4 in a row" is indicative of a small club mindset. Records are meant to be broken and we had to break records in order to have ours, if we lose them then we make it a goal to set them again.

ive always said I want city by far over everybody else. but for different reasons than that.

mostly because outside of Manchester, there are no city fans.

City imo is irrelevant so I don’t care if they win it

Everyone knows they cheat, look at the treble that should’ve been a massive deal but no one cares about anything they do

No not Licha, that experiment didn’t work at Ajax either.

You’d want a young destroyer next to him that has legs to run after a pacey midfielder for 90mins and someone who can ideally pick up a ball and hand it to mainoo

no I meant like also what about for licha cause varane is likely gone. so licha too needs a new dancing partner.

imo for licha, todibo will be good cause I hear he has good pace.

and is a realistic option + Nice/INEOS will know all about what hes like as a person / if hes united tier.

for mainoo -> neves would be perfect imo. although they might be too similar is the concern.

also this whole stadium thing - I mean pretty cool if in UK you do not use government funding for stadiums.

in us/canada, that is like 90% of the funding. hence glazers - Americans - having that mentality when it comes to united to in not putting a single dime of their own into it.

Ratcliffe's point though is to use government funding (tax money) to assist in building a national stadium yes, but in turn help stimulate growth of that whole area.

Whether that is intended in good faith or not I don't know, but the logic seems sound and seems to have been done successfully numerous times here and abroad.

Tax money, besides being woefully spent here - it's at record highs but you would be hard pressed to point to one public service that has improved - is extremely skewed to favour London.
