Varchester
These were the most obvious pens ever lol, didn’t even need VAR
Ten Hag needs to chill with the high risk, high reward ball. They’ve been quite good playing out of the back from defensive situations but there’s so much space.

Didn’t see the first tbf but the second was 100%
If we gonna play counter attacking bring ole back man
Rather play a bit more dominating football against the likes of Everton
As we enjoy half time, some thoughts on that Ole interview I've been too lazy to write up.
Once again, he assured that he always had a veto on transfers. 'Never signed a player I didn't want' - gone are the narratives Ronaldo was forced on him or VDB was.
He mentions Sancho as their top target for RW and then admits he didn't work out because 1) he prefers LW, 2) he's a player that thrives in a patient build-up focused system. Neither of those things were we able to provide. Stupid signing to then make.
Ultimately I am surprised many of you think he came off looking good. To me he came off naiive and out of his depth.
And again, where people have always been very keen to blame the Glazers for much of that era, I once again think it's another case of a manager simply making really poor decisions and causing their own downfall.
Very thorough, unbiased a***ysis of Mainoo
Tldr: good ballcarrying, needs to develop athleticism to be elite
didnt watch, but I find him to be very athletic. his centre of gravity is elite and he has good speed too. will get even stronger in his 20s.
to me hes like an iniesta.

Don’t disagree with any of this — but it will be the exact same for this current manager, too.
only woke up for 2nd half. good garncho in first half, but sounds like we didnt create that much? or did we

Agree to an extent. Certainly has done some self-sabotagey things.
Main caveat being that he's faced season-defining injury problems.
He's only had one clear transfer f***up imo as well which is Antony.
Still have faith that the tactical manager we thought we were gonna get is lurking somewhere beneath. Just need these injuries to clear, build some rhythm with pre season, and few more quality signings.
Evans has been our best signing this season.
Mctominay needs to go.
Evans is better signing than Hojlund?
I respect Evans for not being entirely horrible whilst being a 36 year old coming from a relegation side, but if this is the standard we’re never becoming a serious club

It's close but id give him the edge. Hojlunds good now but it took him a long time to get going. You also gotta take the context into account for Evans. He was never meant to play this often.
Is it confirmed top 5 get CL? If so think we want Villa to win against Spurs.
Edit: it's not.
