    I am!

But thatā€™s not why i believe in ten Hag.

Iā€™m in a strange position. Since iā€™ve become a coach couple years ago iā€™ve started following my fav football teams. Ajax, Barca, (Liverpool)

Since ten Hag went to Man United iā€™ve decided to follow him in hopes of finding out what this whole business of managing clubs is about. Ten Hagā€™s appointment came at the perfect time to commit to a full saga and sort of study decisions, structures and whatnot. So yeah iā€™ve been biased on wanting ten Hag to succeed i wonā€™t deny that

But iā€™m not stupid. I can see where he lacks and where the team suffers because of it. But my weird take on it is that United is a unique case. There is so much wrong outside of the manager, it comes with so many downsides that are easy to forget when you go from week to week results. Itā€™s hard to remain levelheaded and certainly for the most passionate United supporters i can get how emotions can get the better of you.

I just simply think you cannot judge a manager based on weekly performances alone in a vacuum. And i do agree he has dropped the ball, but is it smart to ditch him and start over or is there more to this story?

Dropping this bombshell i expect the regular animosity or scepsis, but iā€™m not your average football fan. While i have a favorite team i donā€™t really enjoy the tribalism. I also never was a big fan of Klopp. Just on a personal level and his playing style doesnā€™t do much for me. Not saying current ten Hag does btw, but his Ajax teams were magical.

dont forget the narrative was that Ole was naive for not playing Donny. he's never been up for it

The fact this guy wasnā€™t sold last summer or the summer before or the summer before that is actually crazy

This is what happens when you stick by a man who failed the club by record scorelines in his first season.

Still got 5 games to go

    Still should have played him.
    1) to have rotated Bruno so he's not the burnt out shell he is now.
    2) sure donny hasn't performed, but how much of that is due to the fact that for such a significant period of time he got next to no meaningful gametime and lost sharpness and confidence as a result.

Also makes Ole's assertion that every player he bought he wanted and he had a veto all the more dumber. It's not like Donny came in and did horrendous and then got dropped. He literally just never got a chance right from the off.

how do you know bruno is burned out? hes a professional athlete, and is merely playing at what his level is. he has by far been who he is the last 1.5 years, than what he was those first 4 months.

Change thread title to Crystal Palace thread

iā€™d be in for thatā€¦. letā€™s all become crystal palace fans, world would be so much easier and less stressful all of a suddenšŸ˜†

would suddenly appreciate every win much more and every win would just make my weekend much prettierā€¦. all youā€™d have to care about is avoiding relegation safely every year and finishing anywhere around 10th place would be just a sweet bonus

  • Cole Palmer 6 g/a off of equalling Rashfordā€™s total last season, no way he stays at Chelsea.

    Cole Palmer is different

madmanā€¦. at this point heā€™s asking to be a starter at the euros

bellingham is kinda in his position right now but i feel like palmer playing from the right and foden from the left should workā€¦. either him or bowen deserve that spot

Bro has been playing the most games out of any player in Europe over the last 4 years. And heā€™s been on a steady decline looking unfocused, itā€™s not that big of a reach

I mean if weā€™re going off of form, which we should be, he should easily start over Saka imo, but Southgate likes to stick to his favourites so weā€™ll see.

Guys like Pedri who played like 70 games in a season 2 years ago was injured for the whole season after, itā€™s a miracle that Bruno hasnā€™t been injured at all. That doesnā€™t mean the physical and mental strain has not gone somewhere. I agree that heā€™s been playing quite s***ty over this and last season, but Iā€™m not willing to give up on him yet cus the amount of games heā€™s been playing without getting any rest might be the most extreme any football player at the top level has ever gone through.
