also this serie a season is fantastic. first competitive title race in awhile...juventus growing pains with Pirlo. AC Milan doing the impossible. Inter squad is perfect for Conte yet underperforming for how good they are on paper...watching inter rn and its excellent game against Roma. lukaku is a monster so different to united days. Roma too have some great talent like ibanez pellegrini kumballa. this game filled with united outcasts. smalling/mkhi + young/lukaku
hakimi is f***ing amazing what a goal. this inter team honestly unbelievable at times. wish we had a hakimi

Good to see AC Milan competing again
Who you got as Serie A champions?

I think it will still be Juve, but will go down to the last match day. im rooting for inter however I enjoy watching them. but as evidenced just now...they are missing something idk if conte is just not the right man or what.
1. Juve
2. AC
3. Inter
4. Roma
5. Atalanta

I guess Zidane didnt see a fit for him in the 4 man defense. he excels in 5 at the back with wingback role, but they got a decent fee, same price as AWB.

That Inter side will be very disappointed with themselves if they don’t win the league. Been a bit mixed with Conte maybe they would be better off getting Allegri in to push for the title
I swear almost every team in the world is unhappy with their manager. Barcelona frustrated with koeman and I bet he loses the job in the summer with elections/new president coming in. Madrid with Zidane isnt that safe if UCL doesnt go well and they lose league to atletico. Juve already annoyed with Pirlo and 5th in table. conte will lose inter job if they dont finish top 2 after the UCL exit. spurs unhappy with mourinho tactics so he will have short leash if things go poorly. arteta was on the rocks but bounced back - still not fully safe theyre 11th ffs. lamps has had the uncertainty for past month and will be gone if no top 4 probably. ole has had target on back since he got the job. dortmund just got the new manager.
liverpool city bayern are like the only safe top club jobs currently.

I think a lot of clubs are going to wait until May when deciding on whether to keep or sack there manager. PSG were always going to make the change whenever and Dortmund had to ditch the guy they had given there woeful start they had. My prediction:
Barcelona sack Koeman
Juventus keeps Pirlo
Inter sacks Conte
Real keeps Zidane
United keeps Ole
Chelsea sacks Lampard
Arsenal keeps Arteta
In happier news, cool that mctom got armband. Seems like a natural leader.
Nice to see somebody playing like a Captain 👀

yep and its a Euros year - whichever national team does great will become a big target for the vacant top job. I think the desire to make a change would be intensified if Poch was available. always nice to have a great alternative available - I bet PSG would've kept tuchel through rest of year if Poch wasn't available. but now that Poch is off the table, teams like Real/Juve/Inter might be less likely to make a change this summer.
I agree with all those predictions too except I think Chelsea will keep Lampard cause theyre gonna finish fourth. 1. city 2 liverpool 3 united 4 Chelsea 5 spurs
Big game today for Ajax. I’ll be watching if I find a decent stream @dutchye
Glad they bought Haller, hopefully he’ll play and score

Mourinho finishing behind Frank
I watched them play Marine FC an 8th tier semi pro team and they only put 5 past them. Not exactly a stellar performance. It wouldn’t surprise me if Mou wins a cup maybe the Europa
Fosu Mensah going to Leverkussen
1.5 million he’s going for
seems a bit cheap for a guy who’s only 23 years old. Liverpool managed to make 70 million off the young fringe players they sold
Kinda hope we sign a midfielder or cb tbh

His contract is up.
James needs to go, it was one of those that got recommended by an ex player, but apart from his pace he adds nothing to the team. Leeds looks the most likely team to sign him. Bielsa wanted him for ages
Need someone to f*** up his deal with Leverkusen so Ajax can buy him

The reason why Liverpool manage to make so much on their players is because they sell at the right time. The second a youth player shows some relative promise at our club, they’re immune from sale for about 4 years until it’s 100% obvious they’re not good enough, by which point all value has been depleted.
Players like Dean Henderson, Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe have had either successful loans or respectable play in the first team, but haven’t showcased anything to suggest they’re amazing must keep players like Rashford or Greenwood.
When their stock is still high is when we must sell them. We could’ve got anywhere from 25-40m for Henderson this season. The season Tuanzebe got promoted with Villa we could’ve probably got 15-25m. Compare to how Brewster had a good loan at Swansea and then instantly was sold to Sheffield for 25m(?). Heck, we probably could’ve got 10-20m for Williams, and probably fobbed Bielsa off with 15m for Dan James. That would’ve helped raise the money we were missing for Sancho.

I know we’re a club that prides itself on youth players - and I totally agree with that - but playing youth for the sake of it/retaining them for no reason just isn’t it. We need to be much smarter and more ruthless with our youth players.
I don’t know why in England we are so averse to selling youth players early and with buy back or sell on clauses. The likes of Real Madrid use it so perfectly. Look at Reguilon, Theo Hernandez, and Hakimi. That’s 3 top quality fullbacks they let go for little amounts and managed to either buy them back or sell at the right time to flip big profits.

great points you've covered. that's why we have been calling for United to appoint a DOF we are not very good at dealing with transfers
