Concerning Amad, i can see your point of view but i also can see the pov being true that whatever Erik sees in training just isn't cutting it for him hence him not starting Amad. He has said before he picks players based on form in training. Maybe Amad has been turning up the last couple sessions and that's why he's made himself the preferred choice over Antony.

I do think Erik desperately wants to prove Antony can find his form which is why he got more starts than he perhaps should've. But also... what pressure is there on Amad in this game, compared to a couple games earlier when United were still fighting for a champions league spot... i think Casemiro is getting the brunt of criticism because it's just a very unflattering position to fulfill with a disheveled back 4 and an extra shame to concede the only goal in a soulless match.

Also Amad was quite good today. Don't think he looked any worse than most players and he kept the ball at his feet. And Amrabat looked pretty nice as well. There was more build up play from what i saw. Shame that it didn't amount to any goals and that Case sleeper ofcourse.
