I can't fathom that stupidity. But it's modern United, so I look forward to that being reality at the start of next season.

Just absolute insanity. Starting next season with Shaw, Dalot, Lindelof (even if it's on the bench) and with ETH on the touchline is going to be miserable. Yet another year wasted.

still too early in his career to put that much pressure on him imo
also having united as a second club in your managerial career while never coaching in the top flight before would be just wild
heās highly promising though and since heās already familiar with the environment a move to united would really make all the sense if he keeps going like this and does well for like at least another 2-3 seasons
at that point the situation at the club might be in a more stabilised state too, as of now he wouldnāt do s*** with this current set of players anyways, need to sort things out and get rid of all the deadwood firstā¦. putting him in that position now would be unfair to him tbh, heās not a savior and that seems like a possible career suicide to me, a move like that rn could do more bad things rather than positive for him and his reputation i would say
ipswich is the perfect spot rn for him to develop imo, there will be barely any pressure on him to perform next season and he could only surprise and pull a miracle by saving ipswich next yearā¦. brighton could be a great next stop for him in case ipswich happen to go down and de zerbiās no longer in charge at brighton
