they didn't brief the regular United journalists about it, the ones to look to for reliable United stuff haven't come out and said it, the only things they've said is that from Ten Hag's end he isn't aware of being sacked, so there's some shred of doubt about it still, but it is a shambles yes cause it's still journalists from respectable sources saying it, unnecessary noise completely

Why do you assume INEOS briefed this? It could literally have been any of the teams of the potential managers they’ve been in contact with
