21 points from losing positions wow. next best has 10
edit: more than half our first half of season points total is from losing positions wow thats incredible
Root a***ysis of that game:
Positives
Great team effort from the lads
Cavani main striker going forward
The rest of the league having to deal with Pogba and Bruno
Greenwood got 80+ minutes
Shaw continues his great form
Negatives
Bruno gives the ball away too much, unnecessary passes at times that almost lead to Fulham scoring. Needs to keep it simple.
We need to close down games more towards the end. Fulham had good opportunities to get a result.
Obviously the first goal was due to certain players not being awake at least 3 players caught napping and not marking Lookman
and for people that act like bailly is world class. that is atrocious defending for the first goal. Absolutely diabolical. But people will act like it never happened
Lookman went to my secondary school, he was in the year below, nice to see him doing well
But utd win more important rn

Don’t think anyone says Bailey is world class but to be fair I think we can conclude that was several players on our teams fault for playing like s*** in the First 15 minutes And being fault for that goal including Pogba Who is world class

lol it is AWFUL defending from him, thats the facts of it. what other players did in the 15 minutes is irrelevant.
he is grossly overrated.
he HAS to come across. He just stands there and lets lookman run through. Its one of the worst bits of individual defending you will see this season, its amateur stuff

You don’t think Pogba being on him and him seemingly being offside despite wan Bissaka being on had anything to do with that? I don’t think it’s as bad as an individual effort as you think. I think he made worse mistakes in other parts of the game honestly but that’s what we all know what we get when it comes to Bailey that’s why Both lindeloff and him being fit is so important for us so we can play them in the right games for them (not ideal I know)until we get a centre back reliable for us week in and week out.
The right winger's been a passenger all season no matter who Ole puts in there. Just throw in Diallo man, I need a natural winger that isn't 21

Yeah its Absolutely sickening

it doesnt matter what aaron and paul are doing. bailly has to close the gap. its simple defending
and you say he is offside when bailly sees him start his run. The gap should be closed before lookman gets there

I think your overrating Baileys pace if your talking about closing him down (or any defenders on our team for that matter) but if it’s a positional thing I think you can blame it more on Maguire who was pushed far to the left on a guy who could have been marked by Shaw or Fred.

once maguire pushes to the left, bailly has to shuffle across. thats it. maguire is on a man, bailly is standing doing nothing. he doesnt react when its clear there is a big gap and lookman can exploit it. its not maguires fault bailly is brain dead and doesnt follow across

It’s tricky because I as a defender would of done what your suggesting but then Wan-Bissakas man is open for a ball in behind who would surely beat him the way wan was marking him

aaron at least is with his man. bailly isnt prepared for when the fulham man on the halfway line turns. I dont know why he has his hands out either
@dutchye youre my guy b but we gotta go with what the former United centre back, former united midfielder (Hargreaves) and former united striker (Michael Owen), have all agreed on (separately too)
We really need a destroyer playing behind pp and Bruno. Fred would get eaten up against big teams

fred and scott works. when fred presses there is cover. when he plays with pogba and bruno alone we get exposed a bit
city is absolutely rolling now btw. and not getting enough press which favors them as well
