There was the ridiculous game against Portsmouth where we got properly done in 08. Where Rio ended up in goal. Absurd game, and we were on for the treble. He was fuming all of that one.

Lost the final on penalties to Arsenal in 05 after being on top of them the whole game.

He did a rotate a ton though and gave chances to youth in those games. Often backfired because lower teams just turn up in those games. But I dont think its fair to say he stopped giving af about those cup games. They're just high variance.

Very good we dominated the majority of it. Mctominay and Pogba wasn’t really working as expected and we would of done better with Fred or Matic there but Donny put a decent shift in and Rashfords been the most dangerous player on the field
