Yes we saw last time we played Sheffield that their weakness was outside runners making runs behind and Greenwood was literally the only attacking player making runs off the ball Pogba and Bruno had no option. If your going to that stagnant up top you at least need a player next to Pogba to try to connect the lines (Van De Beek/ Mctominay) but of course we had slow ass Matic content as a non defending centre back

Think our luck ran out in the end cant keep playing like this throughout a whole season. Keep conceding, going from behind to try and knick a result. Not champions material

Same mistake of players not closing down quick enough around the final 3rd and being out of position compared to where they need to be. Recurring problem now. I think it’s both tbh there’s been a repeated pattern of results where we’ve performed like this. The Istanbul game comes to mind this season and there’s many more Crystal Palace, Tottenham, even the Sheffield United away game and the West Brom one.

Going back to our Europa league games during the summer when we got knocked out there was defensive errors, set piece errors etc that still haven’t been sorted. So yeah your right our coaches failure to recognise these mistakes and rectify them is our downfall
