Zirkzee might be totally useless if he carries on from his Sporting playstyle though, should be up for sale in winter if thatās the case cause honestly there wonāt be any use for him, or at least I highly doubt it, really canāt see much use for him tbh
what makes him different to ETH? ETH was 60 seconds away from a UCL final and had Ajax playing 90s Ajax ball before coming here and deciding to fight with the media every week.
never really cared for ETH in ajax tbh so iām not able to make any comparisons ig
this could go wrong as well coaching-wise, you never know with united these days tbhā¦. too early to predict anything but i would say amorim is very strong in his beliefs and sticks to his vision, so even in case the beginnings could be rough i wouldnāt expect any drastical switch up in playstyle for example like ETH did right after brentford (or at least i think it was that one where he already abandoned what he was trying to achieve at first)ā¦. surely depends on how amorim assesses the skillset he got at united and how he lines up before there can be any judgment on his persistence though
at the very least personality wise itās an improvement though lol, but thereās not many coaches who wouldnāt be an improvement on ten hagās personality/attitudeā¦. letās see how he can handle all the pressure that comes with a job like this first though, gonna be a whole new level for him thatās for sure - i surely wouldnāt expect him to be in such war with media as ten hagās alibistic ass, heās a very likeable guy to me esp compared to ten hag but maybe thatās just me
but yeah coaching-wise idk how to answer your question, as sporting and man united are obviously in two completely different dimensions and i didnāt care for ten hag at ajax to compare his arrival back then to this one now
tbf he would come on top in these for most of the teams
but yeah there are some good indicators
Ugarte probably gonna be a crack under him
def gonna be a starter i bet, ugarte-mainoo seems like some s*** he could like
probably leaves bruno more on the wing lmao, in the role that pedro goncalves is having under himā¦. cutting inside a lot and creating chances, donāt wanna say theyāre a similar profile but not all that far away, could work i think
donāt really see a place for bruno in that double pivot to be honest, has to be ugarte-mainoo imoā¦.. maybe im wrong though bruno-ugarte could probably work
really interested how heās gonna set up if itās any similar to how heās set up with sporting
I know little about the guy but heās apparently very adaptable - wonder if heāll keep the 343 or adapt to what he has

yeah iām posting myself the same question
honestly idk if the back 3 would be to his liking as of right now to keep the 343 so i wouldnāt be surprised if he comes up with something different and perhaps tries to adapt to the 343 later
im very intrigued
excited to see all the Portuguese football experts itt now
i dont know s*** about portuguese football but amorim was my no.1 pick alongside xabi for liverpool back when klopp announced his departure so i do know a thing or two about sporting as iāve watched them last season a handful of times, was d***riding him quite a lot all spring long in here so i know at least a little iād say
im trying to find this one article which i read back in like may and it was an excellent read - was better than most of these videos where they just be yappin most of the times (these first two are good though i remember seeing these as well)
@DwindlingSun I was obviously very wrong and take my L.
It's all good. I been wrong way too many times to count. KingOfPop definitely been tallying it up.
Ultimately at least we can agree on being Madison Beer guys.
Know f*** all, but my only worry is just how much Gyokores has potentially carried him in an inherently weak league.

My gardener is Portuguese. I finally now understand what he meant when he said the trees would need replanting.

at least we got Madison Beer, that keeps us all together

luckily we have the ability to buy gyokeres if thats what he wants. throw in Antony for free, but on a commercial flight.

Weāre all wrong every now and again
Just a shame I was proven right about every last detail regarding that bald con artist pretending to be a manager
Last year I got pelters for saying it as it is, the writing was obviously on the wall but most too blinkered to see it
