Honest thoughts on game:

Casemiro aside, this wasn’t really the big coming out party the scoreline would suggest or many may have suspected. Bruno had a brace and of course that can’t be ignored, but those goals have to be put in context, they were extremely lucky. Outside of that, Bruno didn’t really have a great “Bruno” game, West Ham first half is still far and away the best he’s played all season. Rashford was bad, real bad.

I single those two out because when people talk about “downing tools” it’s usually them they’re referring to, but there was no real improvement to either of their games.

Zirkzee still looks nowhere near the standard he has to/should be at. Casemiro was obviously fantastic, even without the goals he was f***ing everywhere, and Ugarte was great… everything else looked and felt the same. Ruud very much feels like an extension of Ten Hag in almost every way, which I guess makes sense considering it was he who brought Ruud to the club. A 1 in 100 screamer, deflected free kick, and absolute defensive howler on Leicester’s part making up the difference.

In no world should we be giving up two goals to Leicester’s B team.
