Never gonna shift VDB this summer and rightfully so. He's barely been given a chance beyond the odd 75 minutes peppered in once a month and otherwise 5 minutes closing out matches. He's clearly low on confidence and sharpness well off. Not exactly his fault

I don't think it's going to get better for VdB. He's more of a supporting player than someone leading the attack which is what that no.10 role demands

That just isn't true, Lingard has been awful in limited appearances the last two seasons, getting away from us did him a world of good.
