shaw should be the starting left CB going fwd. we looked better (marginally) with him today. evans has gotta retire man. fine to have him like being 7th choice, but relying on the dude at this point is insane.

The main point for me now with Amorim is if he can adapt to what he sees

The only things I’d change are having Amad where Garnacho was, Maz at RWB, and Shaw at LCB. We have Ugarte, Mainoo, and Yoro available soon. Sell Zirkzee in January if possible he’s a waste of space.

Unfortunately feel vindicated in my opinion of him. Would much rather he proved us wrong and showed quality but he really hasn’t at all this season.

Can maybe say that he’s played out of position for like an entire season and hasn’t rested much, so maybe with Shaw and Malacia back he can rest, but atm I really just don’t think he’s good enough.

I don’t think Ten Hag playing him as an inverted full back/CM/CAM helped at all but even with that he’s had a poor season.

Our only good players this season are Onana and Maz. The closest after that is maybe Amad but he’s also been inconsistent at times.

At this level, the decision making, the basics should all be there. With Dalot they clearly aren't

I still think dalot is good and will turn up when played at rwb. He was really good at tackling yesterday too.

Tbh I rather have us lose a few games in the coming months trying to implement his system than him throwing his whole plan out of the window after two games like ETH did.
