No matter how much anger you direct towards me, it unfortunately will never make Ole a good manager.

Flexing a 12 point gap to City, especially when it’s the lowest points tally they’ve ever accumulated in the Pep era… could never be me personally.

He’s very lucky they signed a certain well known player that could be used as a scapegoat is all I’ll say

I mean even though Ronaldo was great that season, that definitely changed the way Ole was going to make it work.

I feel like they’ll claw it back but would love that for Palace. They were City’s bogey team for a while though so let’s see how it plays out.

I actually miss how good they were last season, I’ve got a soft spot for Palace since my FM23 save, but seems like Olise was the one who held them all together.

  • Dec 7, 2024

    City need
    RB
    LB
    Rodri cover
    KDB replacement
    LW
    Haaland cover

Why did they fall asleep all summer lol

  • Dec 7, 2024

And probably a RW savinho is not it

Will Hughes is better than all our CMs lmao

tbh i’m not buying into this too much cause even though the eze-olise duo with mateta up top was probably the most joyful thing to watch all season long the last few games after glasner took over, it is still needed to say that olise played like half the games last season and was almost always injured yet they was still doing fine even without him….. when he played he was going crazy don’t get me wrong he def deserves the credit, but i’m just kinda gutted that they barely played together with eze besides those last few games cause it was almost always one of them injured as eze picked up a few injuries too

feel like eze is still more important to them and more of a glue rather than olise but yeah that combo is dearly missed + mateta’s purple patch ended quickly possibly due to that too

hopefully they get it together soon tho and there are def signs of improvement as of late, was a turbulent and rocky transfer window for palace especially as so many players just came in last minute so i guess it just needs some time for it to all sit well together, def expected better from them so far though

Ole vibes of course being no standards, letting players get away with too much, ruining the futures of Rashford, Martial, and Donny, and not winning anything.

It was the only time we were all one family fans players staff

I know he wasn’t all they had (Mateta was on fire and Eze was great too), but 16 g/a in 19 games is no joke for any player.

Looking at this purely statistically, he came back vs City on 06/04/24, they lost that game, and then went unbeaten for the rest of the season. Added - they won 5 games without him and 8 games with him over the season.

Maybe they were over performing? They also sold Andersen in the summer and Wharton hasn’t continued from where he was either. It’s a lot of things, but I do think Olise was crucial for them for that run.

Calling him the glue was an overstatement for sure though.
