Could he not be good as an AM or false 9 or has he always played striker?
thatās where heās playing most of the time this season with that Larsen guy up top I think so youāre totally right, idk why but I just automatically assumed itās striker related - hence why I thought that wouldnāt make much sense imo as I donāt really consider him as a typical striker, even though he may have acted like one last season lol
could be an interesting option now with rashfordās departure though, however heās probably like a 50-60m+ signing and idk about that

I think we could potentially get him for less if they get relegated, especially if he wants to play for us.
11 g/a in 17 games for a bad Wolves team and being a key player for them makes him seem like a solid option. He also has the s***housery gene based on what happened on the weekend
Only concern with them signing another AM is that he might stick Bruno in the deeper midfield two, which leaves us very open.

I think Amorim knows long term this guy isnāt the option at left 10 or CM.
Weāre just not good enough as a team to get rid of him entirely, yetā¦

I think itās around Ā£5 per 100k views ā I saw a couple of FT accounts expose the DMs theyāve been getting from Stake associated people.
Itās all due to crumble on itself; none of the image rights are actually owned by the people putting the ads on the pictures
Edit: also might not be in the squad tomorrow as well
He didnāt travel

Thatās a sad way to go out, hope he gets a better offer.

Heāll be back nobody does anything g serious in January he wont leave till summer imo
Love how Amorim handles this stuff
Damn heās great at these interviews
I just saw that Amorim gave his players a day off which got me thinking.
Was part of Erikās problem that he was a little too strict and too focussed on hard work? Not relaxed enough perhaps?
Like i donāt have the data to back this up but i remember often reading about how Erik would not allow for days off, especially after a loss.
And i get why he did it but it could also significantly hamper the team morale. Players dreaded how much they were asked to run. And from what i heard they trained really heavy. Small things to consider but probably that make a big impact as the season rolls on.
Also doesnāt help with injuries.

I think one of his main problems was that his communication skills were just soooooo bad.
Itās super difficult speaking in another language but man I was rewatching a video he did with Sky and itās so hard for me, random armchair fan, to be engaged with what he was saying. Let alone professional footballers when things werenāt working
I think the strict stuff can work, you just need to work it better than he did.

Yeah, having to listen to that charisma void run you into the ground for no reason would've got tiring quickly I imagine.
I remember after the Brentford game he went on that run with them which was fair enough but the "just run more" approach to every training session after wasn't ever going to go anywhere.
If it's true Spurs turned him down because of his communication, as we all know now, they dodged a bullet.
When rash leave we will only have one true academy product left on the squad

Tom Heaton
Jonny Evans
Kobbie Mainoo
Toby Collyer
Alejandro Garnacho
And plenty more who will break through

An academy player that actually wants to play for us will take his place in the squad

His s***ty communication wasnāt even because of his English per se. He talks the same way in Dutch and was made fun off a lot in the Netherlands, him having to talk in English only made it slightly worse.

Yeah as someone pointed out already, he was made fun of for his acoustic/brunt communication skills in the Netherlands too until he turned things around.

"for no reason" made me chuckle a bit
