Great human. I think he can get them firing. Either way it’ll be a good journey for fans players and all involved.

Need Hojlund to leave b4 Zirk cause we need that 9 shirt available again. Mount too…for same reason.

    Player legend

Manager did as well as he was ever going to do — played some of the most exciting matches we’ve seen this club play post-SAF. Got a 2nd and 3rd place finish without truly challenging for the title. If he actually won a trophy or two he would be remembered far more fondly

Main flaw is that he ran his players into the ground — it was under him that Pogba, Martial, and Rashford suffered their biggest injuries and played through them without full recovery

He was a spineless manager who allowed the more senior players to run all over him, while he simultaneously ruined the future of the club by either overplaying our young stars, or underplaying them and stunting their growth. Horrible, borderline criminal mismanagement. I blame him, almost single-handedly, for the fall-offs of Rashford, Martial, and DVB.

He dropped the standards at the club and made it okay to be mediocre. He’s the only manager post-Fergie to not win a single trophy. “BUT HE FINISHED THIRD AND SECOND IN BACK TO BACK SEASONS!!” In those seasons he accumulated 66 and 74 points. We ran Ten Hag out of town for accumulating similar points totals at time when the league was much more competitive, and he actually won trophies. In the season where we finished 3rd, we finished 33 points BEHIND 1st place, in the season where we finished 2nd, we finished 12 points behind the winner, and in that year we saw the fewest points for a PL winner in the Pep era. Anybody who celebrates those seasons is a clown as far as I’m concerned.

His biggest sin is the squad that he built. He bafflingly constantly ignored positions of need, and didn’t get rid of players we should’ve gotten rid of years prior. By the time he was sacked, we had an aging, injury prone squad, with about 7 players out of contract that summer. Granted, a lot of those players absolutely needed to go, but it was the way everything was handled. Having them all leave at the same time, not recouping anything for them, etc. He left the incoming manager (Ten Hag) a total mess, a complete rebuild was needed. To be carried out by the most incompetent board in the league, and ETH, who’s talent ID seemed to only be “superstar I’ll never be able to get or player I’m familiar with who can’t hack it in the PL.” Of course they deserve blame, but a better, more competent manager, ESPECIALLY at a club like United, would leave the incoming in a better situation. Ten Hag built a horror show of a squad, but at least Amorim has options. At least Amorim has youth to be excited about. At least Amorim has assets to sell.

I reiterate, the worst thing to happen to United in my lifetime.

  • Rashford brigade on Twitter going after Ruben like he hasn't been a lazy bone idol wanker on the pitch for years on end apart from when he needs a new contract

To be clear: we hate ETH because of how he spoke and the non stop lies. Then he lacked results to seal his faith.
