I think it's the fact that at that age 20 they achieve everything. money -> 100k+/week and another 20-50/week off sponsorships/other investments
girls -> every instagram bikini girl is for the taking
cars/homes/vacation -> all possible now too

so they lose that hunger as result of all this. and/or ego gets bigger leading to less adaption/growth in their game.
