We had one shot on target that entire second half
Nuno’s tactically outclassed. His game plan worked to a tee
Ruben’s gameplan asks the question, “What if your most potent attacking threat was prime Jordi Alba?”
Unfortunately for us we only have Patrick Dorgu
Garna can gladly f*** off based off tonight
Absolutely woeful
Remember when people were talking about his “response” like two months back when he’s only managed on goal in like 20 games?
Ruben’s gameplan asks the question, “What if your most potent attacking threat was prime Jordi Alba?”

😂
Literally so true.
You could give me prime Dani Alves and Roberto Carlos and this setup would be doodoo. It does not work.

Bookmarking all of these for future use, don’t forget
Whining about Ruben when we don’t actually have a striker then saying he needs Bruno to bail him out
Love it
We will aaaaavv to suffaaaa
S*** system
S*** players
Garnacho is trying so hard to takeover Dalot’s title of being our worst player
I think he might have succeeded
24 shots and only 2.27 xG is lowkey crazy as well lol
Assmus on another level man
15 appearances???? That’s insane

It’s a hilarious set up that we intentionally play so that the player who is the one gifted with the most space and most frequent one v one isolations is your left back

https://twitter.com/xGPhilosophy/status/1907176196472754329I hate our attack so much
That’s a comfortably coached win

Took only til last night to say that? Guy is f***ing awful. Worse than Dalot for me.

Both on the same side is torture
Never been the same since unicef

I don’t think it would this unacceptable if we had a fullback who was once trained as a winger.
If we had someone like Alphonso Davies — a speedy, strong player who trained as a winger in MLS and who plays as such for Canada but not for Bayern — then yes, it’s worth a try.
But you can’t just switch on a fullback to be attacking oriented like it’s a button on Football Manager.
But it seems that Amorim envisions a system where ball retention in the midfield is secondary to funneling everything to an open fullback. So then Bruno can play with the freedom to do whatever he wants. And then strikers exist to only finish whatever a fullback starts without any link-up play or additional duties.
It’s pretty simple football that:
A) we do not have the personnel for - i.e. another spending spree for system players awaits
B) other managers can easily beat because there is no flexibility or secondary scoring threat
remember when casemiro got a red for his leg bouncing off the ball 😂
this league is f***ing laughable man what a joke
never fails to surprise me with more bs
