Holjund and Garnacho are like if you split 2022-23 Ronaldo into two equally ineffectual players without any of the past greatness.

I literally can not believe how f***ing s*** some of these players are. Garnacho is so incredibly bad, I mean he has been for the entire season, but man this guy couldn't dribble past a cone. Hojlund did his usual hide and seek wrestle game. Ugarte is literally a less talented Fred. Dorgu has a lot of energy but the guy has no end product either. Dalot had one decent cross but looked like an absolute mug after Doku came on, like usual. Zirkzee is nice to look at but the man has absolutely zero scoring instinct. Case and Mount are incredibly washed. Thought our defence was decent today, but thats also because City is in the same situation as us.

I want to blame Ruben for his dumb system and still playing some of these lot, but man it be unfair to let him go into the next season without getting in some proper players man. Just hope we have the money to actually get some proven players in.

The system looks 'dumb' because the personnel are so bad they'd make any system look s***. It's a miracle we can create the chances we are, and just look at Casemiro. He's not doing anything drastically different, the midfield is just set up properly.

Dorgu I'm not worried about yet - he's 20 and only had 2 Serie A seasons. It's a huge jump to the PL but he's shown a lot of promise.
